Newton & Bywell Community Hall

The Hall is modern and built in 2007 in a rural location with extensive views, situated less than a mile from the A69/A68 at Brocksbushes Roundabout.

Features

Rooms:   The hall has two function rooms: the Main Hall (16m x 8.1m), and the Meeting Room (6m x 5.9m). All function rooms and the kitchen and toilets are accessed from a Foyer.  An external patio area is useful in warm weather.

Heating:  Heating is by radiators using an oil fired heating system.

Maximum Capacity:  Main Hall – 144 seated plus 28 standing. Meeting Room – 28 seated.

Facilities:  The function rooms are fully equipped with tables and comfortable upholstered chairs.
The kitchen has a cooker (domestic size), microwave, fridge, kettles, water boiler and coffee percolator. Lots of cups mugs and small plates.

Equipment: Also available is a flip chart, small screen for projecting and cable reel. A modular stage can be made available.

Parking: There is a car park which can accommodate up to 25 cars.

Access: Fully accessible to all persons, including disabled.

Hire Charges: From 1 January 2011, charges are:

  • Social Purposes: £8.00 per hour per room or £13.00 for both
  • Profit making: £10.50 per hour per room or £16.00 for both.
