The Consortium’s Annual General Meeting will be on Thursday 7th November 2019 at 7pm
Venue: Riding Mill Millennium Hall (Millennium Hall, Church Lane, Riding Mill NE44 6DR)
Jude Deeks (whom a number of you may have already met!) will be this year’s guest speaker. Jude is the Locality Coordinator for the Empowering Communities Project in the West Northumberland area – she works with Prudhoe, Hexham and Haltwhistle Community Partnerships. The work that she does is very much tied in with the place that Village Halls and other Community Buildings hold in their communities, so this promises to be an interesting talk.
The AGM is a great chance to catch up with other members, see what the Consortium has been doing over the last year, and to learn about its plans for the coming year and for us to help gauge your priorities and needs for the Consortium moving forward. Apart from anything else, it gives us the opportunity to meet those of you we haven’t yet met, as well as to catch up with those people we already know.
As a little bit of reassurance: this year there is no pressure to look for new volunteers to join the committee (although we are always more than happy to welcome you, should you feel a burning desire to volunteer!) as the existing Committee have all kindly agreed to stand again for the coming year. There may also be cake…
Please note that there are two halls in Riding Mill – so the following link may help with finding the right one: https://ridingmill.org/riding-mill-village-hall/
